In 2014 I redesigned the Bass Pro Shops Keep In Touch (social links/icons) landing page and the area in the footer. Bass Pro did a lot of redesigning in 2014 to bring many pages up to the newest site design standards.

For the landing page, they wanted a page that loaded quickly and presented all of the social icons in an aspirational way. We picked this image of people enjoying our outdoor gear on a hike in some really beautiful mountain country, and I particularly liked the asymmetrical aspect of it: perfect for our line of social icons.

In the footer, I simply repeated the “bar” from the landing page, minus the semi-transparent boxes; that would add too much visual clutter.
